AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'M DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I passed finals and clinical. Pinning was last night. It wasn't too corny - no Hannah Montana songs like they apparently had at my brother's pinning. My two favorite (scariest, toughest, but best at lecture and clinical) teachers spoke. One made us publicly swear with our right hands raised to not study at all the day before the NCLEX.
I had to walk across the stage to a teacher with my pin open and ready, and I didn't even trip, drop it, or stab anyone! Right on. While I was getting pinned my son yelled out "Daddy I love you!"
This was the hardest but most gratifying semester of my life. I really feel like I've earned something - and that I can be an RN.

I am so glad for you. I think you will make an excellent nurse. Funny thing happened to me the other day. Some lady at work introduced herself and told me she worked at the xxy house. I said, "shit, I knew a nurse named xxy, she taught me how to do im shots and how to handle homeless folks without being a target". She told me xxy had died and this house was named after her since she single-handedly stopped the spread of Tb in Boston. I thought it was funny that I was sitting next to genius in a low rent homeless shelter and I never knew what I had in front of me.
